About Tracey, CEO of Style, ShopForClothes.com
The ShopForClothes Fashion Scene is written by me Tracey Vest, a true blue fashionista without the big pocketbook. As far back as I can remember I have been fascinated by fashion and it just is part of who I am. I don’t think I have ever just thrown something on…okay that Northridge California earthquake.
My tastes tend to lean towards what has been called “over the top glamour.” Growing up I had pages from Vogue on my bedroom wall, loved vintage clothing and made it my mission to look different. To this day I am sure I was born in the wrong era.
My motto and inspiration is “make it your own” and everyday glamour. Fashion trends come and go, but style is timeless. It's a combination of knowing what looks good on you, imagination and taste. A list of my fashion heroes have signature looks that are timeless and named after them.
I admire all fashion, but I will take style over trendy any day. Style to me is a gift, you can’t buy it or teach it. Reminds me of a quote by Katherine Hepburn “I don’t know what it is, but I’ve got it.”
We can all have "it" in my book. Some just have to study it to work it well.
Send in your images and closet codes and I'll post, discuss and advise. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Here's how to get your closet code to submit to this blog:
Visit www.ShopForClothes.com
Click on the OPEN VIRTUAL CLOSET button.
Sign in -- all you need is an email address and password that you create.
Start shopping.
Click "Put in Closet/Buy Later" on any item you want to put into your closet.
When you are done scroll down, click Get Code and copy the Static Code -- be careful to grab the whole code. Send that code to tracey (at) shopforclothes.com with your name and city and we'll post your closet. The static code is good only one time and will hold your closet as you submitted it no matter how many times you add to your closet after that.
