Help Me Question: "Which sequined skirt?"

I passed on this trend over the holidays but I really want to add a sequined skirt ot my wardrobe for the fun of it. Here are a few I'm looking at. Can you give me some pros and cons for color. I am tempted to go safe with black but really would like to be a bit more daring. What do you think?

Leather Shorts for Spring? What do you think?

The Wall Street Journal just released a video interviewing New Yorkers about the newest trend that is leather shorts. Here is the street response:

What do you think? Will you be working this trend? The shorts in my closet below run $175 for the pair with the leggings to $330 for the  Alice + Olivia's. I think they are cute a little tighter than the one's on the reporter. Definately not office attire and keep'em short so they don't resemble lederhosen!
